What body areas can be treated?
All areas of the body can be treated. Face, back, bikini line, legs, underarms etc
 

What does a treatment feel like?
It is very quick! The technician glides a handpiece over your skin which emits a specially filtered light that disables the hair follicles and/or breaks down the pigmentation/ redness. Most clients liken the sensation to the mild snapping of a rubber band against the skin
 

What should I expect after the treatment?
A slight redness may be experienced after each treatment. This generally subsides within a day and will not interfere with your regular activities.
 

How many treatments will I need?
You will require 5-10 treatments, plus possible maintenance treatments depending on your individual growth cycle. Visible hair is treated during the first treatment; this disables only the follicles in the active (anagen) stage of the hair growth cycle. Hairs in the dormant (telogen) stage are not affected by the Intense Pulsed Light but will become active again and treated in the next treatments.
 

What is the difference between Laser and Intense pulsed Light?
IPL uses a broader spectrum of light over a wider treatment area. Allowing faster treatment of more varied skin and hair types than laser. Being less concentrated IPL pulse durations are longer, which is results in more effective energy transfer to the follicle, yielding more effective results.
 

Is it safe?
Yes! You will be treated only by Qualified PARA Medical Therapists who have nationally accredited LASER/Intense Pulsed Light Qualifications. Everyone is given a thorough consultation and their skin is digitally tested to ensure that it meets treatment criteria.
